The first residency runs from Monday, 14 September to Friday, 18 September 2026, in Nairobi, Kenya. It will be preceded by a mandatory two-day virtual orientation two weeks prior.s
The second residency will run from Monday, 24 May to Friday, 28 May 2027, in Rabat, Morocco.
The programme fee is €8,000.
The fee covers programme materials, facilitation and select meals during in-person sessions. It excludes travel fares, medical or travel insurance, accommodation, per diem, visa costs and personal expenses.
The programme fee is due at least seven days before the virtual orientation.
TAL does not currently offer full or partial scholarships, and no payment plan is available at this time. Should this change, it will be communicated.
No. The programme includes a mix of virtual and in-person elements. Physical attendance is required for the residency in Kenya in September 2026 and for the residency in Morocco in May 2027.

The TAL Consortium reviews applications based on leadership experience, commitment to African transformation and alignment with programme goals. All applicants will receive feedback once the review process is complete.
TAL is designed for mid-career professionals, academics and leaders from across Africa working in the public, private, academic and development sectors and focused on transformative impact in their fields.
A specific degree is not required, but relevant experience is essential.
